AUG. 12th Yellowstone

I fished with guide and part time shop rat, Chad Brindle, on the Yellowstone yesterday. The river was quite dirty from the rain storms over the last few days but as the day went on we saw the water clear to about 2 feet of visibility. As for the fishing, it was a little slow but did manage a couple of nice trout on Lightning Bug nymphs with only a few looks on hopper and drys.

If you go- Hoppers, Trudes, Golden Stones, and Stimulators.

Prince nymphs, Lightning Bugs, Iron Sallies.

One last thing. If you lose your anchor while floating Montana rivers, take it from Chad and I, use an real anchor for a "back up" anchor.
