Wind Wind Wind

Had my good friend Iris out again today. We Started by heading to Livingston to float the Yellowstone and nothing but that nice paradise breeze blowing staight down the river. We decided to go to the Gallatin and wade for the fish. After the long trip to Axtel access, we found the trees to be a good block to the wind. Fishing with a hopper and a beatle, we did find some fish willing to eat on top. In a 3 hr. time period we managed to land on small rainbow and had 5 more take the bugs. The water has cooled to the point of needing waders today, so if you have not found them after putting them away for the summer, start digging. The fishing is still good as long as you can find a place out of the breeze.
